When it comes to SEO of a website, it's important to know that SEO should begin with the creating and designing stage of the website as well as website's content. Website's content is much more affect to SEO rank on search engines. There are plenty of Free and paid SEO tools out there today, so you can check your website by any of them. Google offers a Free Google webmasters tools for that as well.
There are 2 types of SEO tactics and strategies are available, one is Black Hat SEO and the other one is White Hat SEO. You can go with either Black Hat SEO or White Hat SEO, but I recommend you "White Hat SEO tactics and strategies", Because there are some quick and bad ways to do things as well as good ways. so Black Hat SEO tactics and strategies are not good things to do at all and they are just spammy and risky, and simply Black Hat SEO violates the terms and service of search engines. so think twice before you do something in that list. If you need to get banned your website from search engines then Black Hat SEO is good for you, but who need it? hey, I don’t think so. Do you need to be banned?
So you should go with white hat SEO. Apparently, there are Black Hat people and White Hat people. Which one are you?
Before you do anything, I think that It’s better, you know something you should avoid. So here they are, let’s take a look.
1. Keyword stuffing
This is a thing that people don't want to read. Don't you think? As an example: "Best website design services will help your website design to have the best website design and Best website design services will add new web site design features to your website cheap" Look like stuffed? yes, so you don't want to do that in your website. Right?
It's just like a mess, people will not read that and as well as Google/ Search engines will not fell for that anymore. no matter how often you use your keyword, if your article is about website design, you need to do is just mention it one time or couple of times and that's enough. no need to be stuffed. Search engines will understand that your article is about website design. Just simple as that. :)
2. Doorway pages
This is something that you should avoid but still people do. Indexing another page on google and then redirect it to another completely different content and mislead your users. I don't think It's a good idea. of course, it's not, so you should avoid these pages too. and further more I should say this is not about landing pages. A landing page is something that user need to read about something and it displays. so these doorway pages are all about misleading users to a page but it's not something that user is looking for. I hope you got the idea.
3.Invisible Text
Here is an idea to trick search engine spiders. Something like, keyword or phrase include in a page which have a white background with white font color. so users can't see it. That is hidden text. and another tactic that uses is a <noscript> tag. This is just trying to trick search engine spiders. Don't do that guys.
4. Link farms
These are another kind of websites you should avoid. Who likes a website with a lot of links? few links are OK. But like a lot? Does it sound like a good thing? No, it doesn't. Google hate link farms, so if your site is that kind of a site then it's time to move on to something else. and also another tactics that related are content spinning and submitting the spun content to multiple websites. If you do, that is a risk guys, because Google loves original content. and also I should mention that Backlinks or Link building is bit far from this.
5. Duplicate sites
If you run a website by copying other websites' content, then that is a high risk you put on your website is getting banned from search engines. Like I said, "Google loves Original Content" as today main search engine is google and if your website is not indexing by Google then what is the point? You might have no traffic at all. Today search engines are more sophisticated than before. This is a Black Hat tactic as well, as soon your website will crawl by search engine bots. or else If someone report it to the search engine, there are a lot of chances to get banned this kind of a website.
So the best thing is knowing that these Black Hat SEO tactics and strategies are not good for a website to use after all and avoid them as much as you can and then you will not risk your website by getting banned from search engines.My friends, Don't go to the dark side! we have a lot White Hat SEO tactics, we can use them.
