Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Demi
Lovato, and Taylor Swift are popular young singers today and they all came to the music industry at a very young age this
post is about Taylor Swift but it’s, not only for Swifties.
1. Who is Taylor Swift?
Taylor Swift: Songwriter – Singer, She is one of country music's top recording
artists in The US, with many awards. She is the only artist in history to have an album hit the one million mark
in sales in first-week figures three times.

“I have this really high priority on happiness and finding something to be happy about.”
—Taylor Swift
She is amazing. Do you know why? Even though I'm not from
The US, I have seen and
watched all things about her on the internet. Mainly from YouTube (- especially on her YouTube channel, The
Ellen Show, and also, Facebook Twitter, tumbler, and other sources. I love her so much
because of her attitude, friendliness, kindness, generosity, and other things
about her that I like.
I have never seen anyone like her before and I think her songs,
lyrics and her thoughts are so meaningful to me and my life. Taylor
Swift is
two years younger than me, but I have many things to learn from her life, so I
don’t think age matters in any way. Does it? I don’t think so. Therefore, I
just thought I’d write about her and especially here about some special things
about her from an Interview with some school children and you can watch the
video below this post.
2. Her humility
Well, at the beginning of her interview, she introduces herself as
“Hi, guys ‘I’m Taylor. Can you believe that? I mean, she is a global
superstar, and celebrity, and everybody knows her, but how could she introduce
herself like that, you just see her humility there, adorable.
It's just not about her if anyone could think like that, like how
far you have gone through your life, but just as long as you remember your past,
how you were before, and who supported you to come to get to this point and how you
ended up here, then everybody will love that person and everyone will be there
when you needed them just like her. Don’t you think?
Once she said “No matter what happens in life, be good to people.
Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.” So I think, she
proves it everywhere she goes.
3. Why did writing become Taylor Swift’s career?
Well, as you already know she was a songwriter before she became a
singer, this is how she revealed why she wanted to write songs in the first
place.
“I’m really excited to talk to you about reading and writing,
that’s because I wouldn’t be a songwriter if it wasn’t for books that I loved
as a kid and I think that, you know when you escape
into a book, It trains your imagination into thinking that more can exist than
what you see and I think that’s been the basis of why I wanted to write songs
and why writing became my career”
4 Her idea about Feminism
Feminism is something only women talk about, this is what she said about feminism in her words.
"When women and girls can identify with feminism and that discussion becomes more popular because, when I was growing up I feel like it wasn’t something that we really talked about, we really didn’t understand what feminism was, if we did, we thought it was like some angry like kind of aggressive thing and it’s not. It’s just that you believe that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. "
5. She recommends "Journaling"
"I would definitely recommend 'journaling'" said Taylor.
Journaling is something anyone should do, If you have a day plan,
short plans, or even long term plans, though it's not about just plans and it can be
about any kind of stuff that you want to have a record about and whether you
are a student, or worker, freelancer, manager or any kind of person and the things
you do. It just doesn’t matter, anything you can write. Also, It will help you
to release your stress at some point. This is more of what Taylor said about that,
“Because I was Journaling since I was 13, I have all the journals
when I was in school and I was sad when I was not invited to parties that
everybody was invited to, or you know, I’m upset that some boy that I had a crush
on didn’t notice me and I would just journal the way that I felt and somehow It
kind of simplified it because sometimes you know nothing can really make you
feel better about what you are going through but a lot of the time it’s easier
to understand how your feeling if you write it down because it kind of
simplifies it for you. A lot of the time we get so overwhelmed by emotions
because there are so many of them, but a lot of the time, if you put pen to
paper, how you actually feel would be what comes out on the page.”
“Journaling, has made me discover that I loved poetry, and poetry
is so close to songwriting in concept, you know ‘cos if you are Journaling
rhyming poetry, you try to find the perfect concise way to say something and
kind of it has right rhythms at the end of the phrases so if you just start to
write in your free time and you make writing something that you look forward to, who knows where it will take you, who knows if you start to think about
storylines and you decide you want to write a book someday or you decide maybe
you like journalism or you sketch something and you realize that you want to be
an artist, there are so many different things that you can discover about
yourself if you write. "
6. One of her songs was based on a bullying situation, she went through
Bullying is very bad and harmful to a person and it’s something
that happens to us even though we don’t like it, but many people have gone
through this kind of situation at some point in their life. So this is her
story,
“One of the situations where I wrote a song about something that
was hard for me. So you know, when I was in school, we talked about how we felt
when left out a lot of the times and kids pick on me and stuff and I thought
when I was younger that ends, I thought that when you grow up and you graduate
high school or something that people don’t bully each other anymore and then
you don’t have to deal with people picking on you all the time or saying things
that aren’t true about you or saying that you don’t deserve what you
want,”
“And then you know, I went on a tour and I started to make music and put in albums and about two albums and there was this critic, right? Like
a journalist just was saying all these things about me that were so mean-spirited like the job of a critic is to, you
know, say their opinion about music videos and clearly, this guy had like a
vendetta. This was like there was much
more than him just saying, you know, she needs to work on this, and then and a lot
of critics will give you constructive criticism, you know and so I felt really
upset because it felt like someone was actually just trying to end my career rather
than reporting on music and I felt really sort of defeated by it and so I went
to my room and I grab my guitar and I started strumming this chord progression
and I started writing this song that I called “Mean” and it was all about this
guy picking on me and making me feel small and making me feel like I wasn’t
enough or wasn’t what I should be,”
“and the strangest thing that ever happened in my life was standing on
the stage at the 'Grammys' two years later accepting two 'Grammys' for that
song so It’s really weird how things can come back around in your life and you can choose to be completely
pulled down and you can let bullying change you or you can let it make you
aggressive mean just like they are or you can try to channel your pain into
something that can do nothing but pull you up and motivate you and if you do
that and you look back one day and you are so thankful for that person who was
terrible to you J "
7. How does she handle criticism now and what about her dancing style of her in
the “Shake it Off” Music video?
I think this is so interesting. This is what she said about that.
“I think I have the best time dancing when so many artists are on
the stage and they are performing for you like I just decided, I just have fun
with it so I’m always like up and dancing, but I’m a little bit like a baby learning
how to walk, then there it was all over The Internet, like ‘Taylor Swift is
awkward when she dances’ like ‘she’s so bad at dancing’ and now the way I
handle that criticism is, I wrote a song called ”Shake it off”, I wanted to do an
entire music video of me awkwardly badly dancing”
“And yeah, I’m having more fun than you”
“You can laugh at yourself too, and that’s all right”
Conclusion
So I think now you know a lot more about Taylor Swift from this
article, If you didn’t know, about her ideas on certain things and all and I
bet you have become a 'Swiftie' (A fan of her) by now, If you weren’t before
and I think now you know, why I called her amazing and you can watch this video
below and when you watch it, you will see there are more things, I didn’t write
about here. I wrote this just like she said because you need to see how
she said it.
Once she said “This news has come out and I have nothing to do with
something that happened, but somehow my name is attached to it and it becomes
some sort of like pseudo-scandal, you know, but at the end of the day my fears,
I have to repress a lot of them, I have to let go of a lot of them because
a lot of them come from me just overthinking and although over thinking and
over analyzing usually make you a hard worker, You have to make sure that it
doesn’t turn you into someone who is afraid to take chances”
Well, I got many lessons from Taylor Swift's songs and her
sayings to my life, and that’s why I thought to share this with you all I hope you have gotten many lessons and ideas for your life too.
